The Covered Market Incident

Jonas Vale was found dead beneath a fallen lighting crate in the covered market’s south arcade shortly after eight, during the evening closing period. The death initially appeared to be a tragic accident, but uncertainty soon spread through the market. By morning, traders were speaking in low voices, and the usual closing bustle had given way to fear. The circumstances of Jonas’s death remain unresolved.
