Daily mystery game tips: build a streak and a better score
A daily case is a habit as much as a puzzle. These are the habits that separate a detective who closes cases from one who guesses and moves on.
Do the scene before you read any theory
Unlocked evidence raises your accuracy score and it changes how you read the interviews. Sweep every photograph before your first interrogation and the rest of the case gets cheaper.
Solve early when you can
Early solvers of a fresh case earn a bonus that later solvers do not. If you can take a case in the first hours after it drops, the same accuracy is worth more points.
Protect the streak, not the perfect run
A streak rewards consistency. Filing a decent accusation on a busy day beats skipping the case entirely — and grace days exist so one missed day does not erase months of work.
Use the archive as a training ground
Cold cases carry no clock. Work old files to practise the method, then bring the sharpened routine to the case that actually counts.
Questions from the bullpen
- How does a daily detective game score work?
- Scores combine accuracy — the culprit, the motive, and the evidence you unlocked — with bonuses for solving a fresh case early and for keeping a daily streak alive.
- What happens if I miss a day?
- The case moves to the cold-case archive and you can still play it, though a missed day costs streak progress unless a grace day covers it.
